CodeMark TV Episode 36
When Hurricane Harvey swept through Houston and surrounding areas, we were all terrified. It had been years since a major storm had threatened to destroy everything we had worked so hard to build. No one quite knew what to expect. And once Harvey made landfall, everything changed for not only Houston, but all of Texas.
Providing Aid and Support
My name is Mark MacInerney, President and CEO of Codemark Financial, and I’m one of the survivors of Hurricane Harvey. My community, Quail Valley, a suburb of Missouri City, has banded together to provide aid and support to those affected by Hurricane Harvey.
The Codemark Financial office is now accepting donations of toiletries, home goods, and clothing for men, women, and children. We’ll also match dollar for dollar on donations made. And we’re not the only ones giving back. Throughout Township Square, certain retailers and restaurants are donating proceeds from their services to help lessen the affects of Hurricane Harvey on our brave Houston neighbors that are still without the things they need.
Local Retail Donations
Check out Ally and Belle, a local retailer who is donating 20% of their proceeds on select items to civics groups in the area. Paint and Party is offering free painting classes for your kids while you work on renovating your home. And if you’re in need of a delicious meal, stop by Capone’s and Old Hickory for lunch on them.
We may be at the beginning of rebuilding our city, but we are strong, Houston. Together, with our bare hands, we’ll rise above this tragedy and restore our beautiful communities, brick by brick. We are One, We are United!
