There is a way to close in 20 days or less – here’s how. When your contract goes into “option pending,” get with the listing agent. Tell them to schedule the appraisal for the day after the option period. Why? That way there is no lost time. You rocket through the inspection period, the appraisal is ready, and there is one less condition you have to clear. It will save you a full week.
Now, if you don’t do that, bad things happen.
