Nicole Killingsworth and her husband Paul created Vino & Vinyl as a place for people to get together, grab a glass of wine, and get to know one another. This unique hangout is a full service wine bar and record studio with a lounge area! As you step into the bar, you’ll feel like you’re settling down in their living room with a few of their closest friends who are super excited to meet you.
Vino & Vinyl
Vino & Vinyl opened in Township Square in 2015 as a wine shop and a record store that hosted wine tastings. But as more and more people wanted to “stay awhile,” Nicole and Paul decided to convert it into a full bar and lounge. “It was an organic growth that was asked for by our community,” Nicole says with a smile. And since it’s inception some 2 years ago, Vino & Vinyl has grown! A second location opened up in 2017 in Sugarland.
Rachel Clabaugh is the leader of Club Vino, the resident wine club that has been serving members for over 2 years. The club’s 130 members enjoy customized wine picks that have been identified and assorted based on their individual tastes! And if you’re not a part of the club, but you’d like to get something special, you can do a special order of wine and vinyls!
Club Vino is not the only place where you can find community. The entire bar was built on relationships between the local art community and other members of Township Square. While you sip on beautiful wines from organic vineyards close by, you’ll enjoy tasty food from Brandani’s and Capone’s. And every month, you’ll view art from a different local artist who has put together a gallery for you to view and purchase.
So, if you’re looking for a solid connection to local wines, amazing art, and great music, come by Vino & Vinyl for a sip and some tunes!
