CodeMark TV Episode 42
A few Christmas seasons ago, Ron Brandani, owner of Brandani’s Restaurant and Wine Bar, was approached by his friend, Freddy, to take over his restaurant that was currently at the location. At the time, Ron was busy working at a different restaurant, so he put the idea in the back of his mind until January. That’s when the magic started. Ron put in his one month’s notice and quit on February 2nd. Then Brandani’s opened on March 3rd, just one month later!
Some 2 ½ years later, Ron and his wife’s determination to work hard and take care of others has made Brandani’s a special place for many people! The food is great: lunch specials include 3 courses of soup or salad, an entree, and bread pudding for just $15! And the service here is exceptional!
Sense of Community
Brandani’s may seem like a regular Mom and Pop restaurant, but Ron and his crew have gone out of their way to create a sense of community here. And once you’re here, you’ll be happy you came! Most of the beautiful artwork was created by Ron’s mom. She loved painting the labels of vintage wine bottles, many of which belong to famous wine dealers and growers.
Over time, Ron’s invited wine dealers and makers to Brandani’s, and they have been pleasantly surprised to see their art on the walls. Dave Phinney, known as the genius behind Orin Swift, has come in and check out Brandani’s wine selection and incredible food. So has Robert Foley, owner and operator of Robert Foley Vineyards in California. Every year, Robert and Ron team up to host a wine dinner at the restaurant!
There’s so much going on here at Brandani’s! You’ll dine on fresh, savory food while being surrounded by new friends, sipping some of the best wine on the market. So, as Ron puts it, “Work with Mark, close on your house, and come have a beer with us!”
